Working in Ag

In this episode, we talk with Marissa Wilson,  who is currently an instructor at Southeast Missouri State University. Although she did not grow up with agriculture as a big part of her life, Marrisa talks about some of her experiences and finding her passion within the industry.  We dive into how we can best prepare students to work in agriculture and discuss how internships were such a valuable part of our education.

Join us to learn about Lynns' commitment to her career and her roots in the agriculture industry. 

Join me as we talk with Jake Jaworski, who is currently working as an ag teacher at Christian County High School in Kentucky. Jake brings a unique perspective to agriculture education as he has experienced several high school and college programs. We dive into how we can continue to improve ag education and how we can get more students out working in the industry. Emphasizing how important it is for industry professionals to get involved with their local ag programs, we explore simple ways you can help provide new opportunities for students.

Hear from our guest, Meghan from Table Rock Farms in Western New York about her family's 1,200-cow dairy and how they manage their cattle and employees. With several years of experience, Meghan provides valuable insight into how we can interview, train, and lead employees to be successful within production agriculture.
